I started testing with the listening devices I have, and the only devices that I've noticed some floor noise (slight hum/hiss) when plugging directly into Tangara is my KZ IEM's. However, I think this is the nature of higher end audio equipment, as DankPods explain in an older video (timestamped).
Surprisingly, there as no (perceivable) noise from the Sony MDR-EX15 (my black one, as I think my blue ones are broken enough to make the right bud much louder than the left one) and the ATH-M50x (or at least floor noise that I could hear).
Still, I need to do more testing, as I only just got my Tangara this week.

So for the life of me, i can't get IEMS to make a good seal or fit in my ears, so I've always gone with headphones. This website here (https://crinacle.com/rankings/) is a great resource for objective rankings of headphones and IEM's that i used to find my pair. I went with the AKG k371's but the Shure SRH840's are a good option too for budget closed back headphones. I went with something that was a close to a neutral sound as i could within budget which is why i went with the AKG's instead of the Shure's. If you don't mind doing a bit of research, I'd recommend checking out the out the website. Only issue is that the creator, Crinacle, has stopped updating the list so it won't have the newest IEM's or Headphones anymore.

The effect of headphone impedance on audio quality is generally a bit overstated IMO, but we tried to design Tangara's output stage such that unusually high impedances don't cause any issues with frequency response. You may want to watch out for the sensitivity of some higher-end headphones (e.g. fancy planars), but in general Tangara also has enough output power that these don't tend to be *too* problematic.
I'm testing with my 600 ohm Beyerdynamic T1 and Tangara does great! I have the volume a bit louder than with my IEMs, but not by as much as I thought. Having the volume at 70 is plenty loud.
I'm sure it depends on the construction of the headphones and not just the impedance.
