Line out of line level output - Zeddie - 2025-02-28 Just ordered one thanks to Veronica's video, so waiting patiently for April! Is there an option to switch between headphone level output and line level output? I plan to use use this as a playback device to record digital audio (FLAC mostly) to high end cassettes (Nakamichi ZX-7 deck, Type II and IV cassettes). Oh, does this have gapless playback? Thanks! In sound settings there's a control for changing the maximum volume limit between "Line level (-10dB)"; "CD Level (+6dB)"; and "Maximum (+10dB)". There's also a jumper you can solder to lower the impedance, its tuned for high-z headphones out of the box RE: Line out of line level output - Zeddie - 2025-02-28 (2025-02-28, 04:00 AM)river Wrote:(2025-02-28, 03:53 AM)Zeddie Wrote: Just ordered one thanks to Veronica's video, so waiting patiently for April! RE: Line out of line level output - redshift - 2025-02-28 Gapless is there, but it's not perfect for MP3. I'd like to be able to use this jack for both headphones and line out. I really just mentioned it because I remembered it; I think it would be counterproductive for you But more importantly, I think I misunderstood it anyway; you can read about in this update for the exact details RE: Line out of line level output - jacqueline - 2025-03-03 Super cool use case, hope it works well for you! Setting the volume limit to line-level and volume 100% should work well here as a start. You'll want to confirm that your recorder can handle such a big signal without clipping, but if it can then you should be able to get a signal out of Tangara that's more than good enough for cassette recording. LMK how you go! |
