Boot loop when SD inserted - villain - 2025-04-22 Hi! My Tangara has been working fine since initial roadbumps, but today I listened using it on my walk to work then put it on my desk and left it for 10mins and when I tried booting again it got caught in a boot loop flashing the logo/restarting the screen on and off over and over. If I remove the SD card it boots normally but obviously says the SD card couldn't be found. How should I troubleshoot this? RE: Boot loop when SD inserted - villain - 2025-04-22 Update - Sometimes the Tangara booted enough to tell me it doesn't recognise the SD card (even when its inserted). I tried plugging in my SD card via reader and my Mac isn't showing it as a volume, but if I open Disk Utility it shows as empty - looks like it formatted itself? I've reformatted it and am re-adding all my music back on now, but any idea what went wrong here? RE: Boot loop when SD inserted - Be - 2025-04-23 That seems like some data corruption on the SD card. Whether that's Tangara's fault or the SD card failing is hard to say. Hopefully it stays fine now. |
