love my tangara, runs with zero problems, guess though that it may be time to upgrade (worth saying I have not been using bluetooth and I see the first fw bump and likely others addresses bluethooth issues)
of course I will update the fw, I'm just curious, are there any best approaches, or gotchas?

I use Tangara Companion to do firmware updates and it's been reliable and painless.
