Which batch - yosthum - 2024-11-29

I saw that batch one has now entered the postal system - exciting times indeed (congrats on literally shipping). I was wondering if there's a way to know which batch my order is in?

thanks! batch one is estimated for delivery in december, so if the estimated delivery date on your order says december then it's in batch one

it seems that batch 1 has now actually been shipping to people (judging by other threads on the forum). i initially had my estimated shipping date on crowdsupply show the 11th (i think?) but after that date passed it changed to december 31st instead. is this still batch 1 with perhaps some kind of delay on crowdsupply's part?

Batch one is shipping, but it will take some time to ship completely. Partly because we've got three separate shipments to Mouser in-flight, and partly because it just takes them a little while to ship 650 boxes. New project update early next week will address this!

I ordered back in March 2024 (order 209951) and my initial estimated ship date was 13/12/2024, which then changed to 31/12/2024 and is now showing as 31/01/2025. Am I classed as the first batch as the latest update on Crowd Supply says the next batch won't ship till March 2025??

I'm in almost the exact same situation - I believe we are batch one and our devices are just held up at the distributor

That's probably the case yeah. Only ~100 have actually shipped from the first batch (of the ~650 that we've sent to the distributor), it seems there's a bit of a backlog with the shipping over this busy time of year, hopefully it ramps back up soon.

There's about 50 batch 1 units still left to ship at the moment! So batch 1 is not quite finished shipping, but it is close.

Mine was ordered Feb. 1, 2024. My estimated shipping has changed at least four times and each time it has changed after the estimated date has come and gone. Now showing end of March. Ugh, I wish they wouldn’t bother with these teaser dates, it’s so frustrating. ☹️

It is frustrating, yes, we can only apologise for all the shifting dates. We're following up with Crowd Supply folks atm to see if they have any more insight into what's actually going on with these batch 1 units. At this point Mouser have had the full batch 1 shipment in their warehouse for getting close to 2 months. We really did not expect our distributor to be the bottleneck here :\

After logging a query with Crowd Supply they have come back with the following which implies my batch 1 unit has not even been sent to the warehouse yet???

"Thanks so much for reaching out! We’re currently waiting on the next batch of Tangara to ship to our warehouse for the remaining backer orders to ship. Once the rest of the Tangara units arrive, yours and hundreds of other orders will be shipped out!
Please let us know if you’d prefer us to cancel your order any time instead of waiting."
