This release paves the way for some exciting future firmware updates! Additionally, it also should make flashing via the companion more reliable, and there are new options for force-rebooting your device or recovering from a failed flash via the app.

You weren't lying, this is a really good update of the companion app. I tested it out to update my tangara to 1.4.1 and it was one of the smoothest firmware flashes I've experienced.
