White/Frozen Screen
#1
I just had an issue where my Tangara started showing a white screen and was completely unresponsive (even after doing the force-boot button/slide toggle combo). The only way for me to get it to respond was to disconnect and reconnect the battery. After doing this, the Tangara started to boot, but froze on the "Tangara" boot screen.

The button combo didn't work here either. So, I reconnected the battery. Then it stopped turning on altogether. So, I tried connecting a charger. It now turns on and responds normally.

Was this some kind of low-battery behavior? Did I bork something doing my audio mod? Is there an incompatibility with the tangarine faceplate? Or, is this something else altogether?

I've seen this once when I accidentally completely drained the battery on mine, and I think a couple other people have reported that happening too. It's likely not anything you've broken if it works now and doesn't happen again.

That's comforting to hear! Is it likely to damage the battery when this happens? I would have thought the charging circuit would cut out to protect the battery?
