Hi!
I'm loving my tangara. Thank you!
I connected my airpods to it last night on a walk and even putting the tangara in a chest pocket or in my pants pocket would cause the audio to stop playing (i'm assuming because the bluetooth connection was severed). What kind of range can I expect from the bluetooth on the device?
It depends. I've had it range from "works from the other end of my house through several walls" to "struggling to stay connected while holding it in my hand" (the latter on a crowded plane presumably full of other people's 2.4GHz traffic).
It does seem less tolerant of Bluetooth interference than my phone, I think? I haven't done any sort of in-depth testing on it.
Hi everyone!
I'm having similar issues.
My new headphones (Fairbuds) have weird troubles. They connect and play music, but the connection is very shaky and having the Tangara in my pocket results in interruptions, loss of connection on one or both headphones. After ~5min my headphones automatically turn off (while playing) and I think that is because they don't realise they are connected (they also don't give me the "connected" audio feedback, when turning on, which they always do when I connect e.g. my phone).
My old Sennheiser Momentum TW 2 do connect with a "connect"-sound, but also have serious trouble holding a stable connection. It is very shaky, cuts out and no fun listening to.
Does anyone have any advice? Thanks!
I'm using the Nothing Ear (with bluetooth 5.3) and am also having weird bluetooth issues. I don't live in an apartment, so I don't think I have much radio wave congestion around me.
I'm having stuttering at random times. I've definitely experienced stuttering while having the device in my pocket. But, surprisingly, I just experienced a ton of it with the device half a meter away from my face, in direct line of sight, next to my laptop... (maybe the laptop was causing interference?)
In addition to stuttering, I've also experienced the audio speeding up and then slowing down, back and forth a few times before stabilizing.
I've disabled the automatic DB scans, not sure if that is affecting anything. My library is about 20GB of FLACs.
