Device boot loops with microSD cards
#3
Thank you for the response. I wasn't aware of the bug with embedded images, which my entire library was intentionally set up so the files would have embedded art for use in other music apps. It will be a lot of work to remove all of that, but I've done worse before.

For the files I did already have on the card, I removed all embedded images and returned it to the device. Ran the database update and it completed. at 1553 KiB. This was only a small portion of my full library, so I tested what was there and it seemed fine. I went to add more music and ran it again, but it crashed at 837.3 KiB, only showing what little it indexed that time.. For the third pass, it did complete at 1762.1 KiB and appeared to index everything I put on the card this time. It played without crashing, which was ideal. I'm adding more music in chunks each time and testing now, and it is up to 1936.6 KiB without crashing, so it might be stable now. This microSD card appears to work fine and removing the embedded images looks to have solved the issue. I'll keep working at it until it is complete, and if anything more happens, I'll be sure to update this thread.
