If on your linux machine you run `sudo dmesg -W` and then plug the Tangara in, does anything show up?
Success! Nothing showed up via the USB2 port, but when I connected via a USB3 port, it was there. It still doesn't show up in the file system viewer, but it showed up in the Companion app, so I was able to flash version 2.1.0 of the firmware, and that took care of the SD card issue. I'm looking forward to tinkering with the rest of the setup. Thanks for your help!
