Is unnecessarily high bit rate FLAC supposed to work?
#1
So I have here an album that makes my tangara make distressed machine sounds, like it's not able to go fast enough and it's throwing tiny disconnected chunks of audio out as fast as it can.

It appears to be the only album I have in 24-bit 192KHz flac. This seems high to me, don't ask me why, I didn't do it.

I'm guessing it literally cannot read the SD card fast enough? First track of this album is 5:09 and 194MB, so ~5 megabits/s theoretical throughput required, ignoring literally everything else involved in audio playback. I have no idea what speed y'all are running the SD card at but I vaguely recall it not being one of the obscenely high speeds.

I'm going to re-encode those anyway because this is An Unnecessary Amount Of Audiophilia*, but do you want a bug report or is this expected to not work well?

* is the name of my new band
