My first attempt at a mainboard was almost a success; by my visual inspection it looks like all the components are making proper contact. Almost! I destroyed two flat flex connectors while trying to solder them on there, and then accidentally lifted off the TOUCH_INT trace below the connector while soldering my third one. I did sort of figure out how to solder those connectors in the end, so I think I'll try a new mainboard soon. I figured it's technically possible to bodge wire it, but that seemed fiddly, and I have a few more empty boards anyway.
When I went to look at those connectors again, I saw that the 505278-1533 (listed in the schematic) is no longer sold on mouser or digikey, but I figure that 505110-1592 is similar enough to work in its place.
