Audio stuttering?

My tangara arrived about two weeks ago and so far I've been loving it! The only issue I've been having with it that I haven't been able to find a solution for is unfortunately a bit of a major one, so I was wondering if other people had the same issue. My tangara has pretty hardcore issues with the music stuttering when I first start up a track. It tends to go away after about 30 seconds and is generally fine afterwards (with a couple hiccups), but this is pretty consistent upon startup when playing a song for the first time. It happens with both bluetooth and wired connections. I also noticed that on a wired connection the music only played out of the left side of my headphones, which is not an issue when using my headphones wired with my computer, for what it's worth.

Just wanted to check if this was a common/known issue or not and if it's firmware-related or might be a hardware issue?

Hi, just to check, does this happen whilst the database is indexing, or at other times. During the database indexing there should be a "DB" indicator at the top right of the screen. We're currently aware of some issues where this indexing causes stuttering on tracks.

The wired output only being the left channel sounds like it could be a hardware issue with your unit. Can you double check the jack is fully inserted? If this happens consistently between wired headphones and you're sure the headphones are plugged in correctly, then the next step would be to reach out to support@cooltech.zone and we can figure out a solution or replacement.
