How default Tangara controls work
#2
There's some docs in a PR I have open that does better document the controls and shortcuts for different control schemes. It's not committed yet though because it's a part of another PR that changes the way controls work slightly in order to support more control schemes down the road, and PR reviews are quite slow whilst the majority of work time is going into batch 2 assembly. If you're interested you can see the unmerged doc changes here

I don't really view the UI layout in terms of left and right "spaces", but I can see the logic there. I would say that long-pressing right is a shortcut to the now playing screen, and I view it more as a tree of screens, in which the main menu acts as a trunk and the now-playing screen is a sort of special screen that is at the end of a lot of branches, and makes sense to quickly return to. But it's interesting how the ways we interact with UIs shape the way we think about them. Without the long-press shortcut on the right I wonder if you'd still think of it as left and right areas.
