Long-form audiobooks and podcasts
#1
I see in the firmware that there is support for long-form content – like podcasts and audiobooks – to continue playing where they left off.

But how do I set up files to be recognized as such? Is it a special tag? Special directory?

On the root of the SD card you make separate folders for music and podcasts (I'm not sure about audiobooks but I assume it's the same EDIT: it's the same behavior when adding an Audiobooks folder), that's pretty much it. It also automatically separates them from music on the main menu

That worked – thank you!

I'd like to see some kind of documentation here about these magic words. In the docs, all it says is:

Quote:When loading your music onto the device, we recommend placing your files within a 'Music' subdirectory on the root of your SD card. This will make it easier for your device to distinguish different kinds of media content.

That's not very strongly worded, and doesn't mention anything about the podcasts magic word. I didn't know about this feature.

We were mostly holding off on writing better docs until we had more sophisticated support for this kind of content, but time makes fools of us all. The docs are also on codeberg if anyone feels like taking a stab at it: https://codeberg.org/cool-tech-zone/ctz-...ngara/docs
