How default Tangara controls work

I am wondering if anyone can also verify that this is how the default settings (touchwheel control scheme), on Tangara work.  (Make sure you have firmware version 1.2.2 or newer, in case you're reading this long after this was first posted.)

Using the four cardinal directions (i.e., up, down, left, and right), we have:
1)  Going horizontal/left-to-right, there is a left "space", which is where you currently are in Tangara's UI.  The second right "space" is reserved for controls of what's currently playing.
    - In the left "half", you long press right to proceed from any menu to currently-playing "half".  Inversely, you long press left while in the currently-playing half to return to the last menu you visited.
2)  In any list, long press up to jump to the very top in "short" menus.  Also, long press down to jump to the bottom for short menus.
    - In very long menus, such as in the File explorer; you will jump by "chunks"/"pages" when long pressing up/down.  This is much faster than scrolling radially on the touchwheel.
    - If you have haptics enabled, then Tangara will make a rumbling pattern while vertical long-press scrolling is happening.

It's a bit hard to describe all of this in words, but I hope to make a video soon that shows my observations.

There's some docs in a PR I have open that does better document the controls and shortcuts for different control schemes. It's not committed yet though because it's a part of another PR that changes the way controls work slightly in order to support more control schemes down the road, and PR reviews are quite slow whilst the majority of work time is going into batch 2 assembly. I don't really view the UI layout in terms of left and right "spaces", but I can see the logic there. I would say that long-pressing right is a shortcut to the now playing screen, and I view it more as a tree of screens, in which the main menu acts as a trunk and the now-playing screen is a sort of special screen that is at the end of a lot of branches, and makes sense to quickly return to. But it's interesting how the ways we interact with UIs shape the way we think about them. Without the long-press shortcut on the right I wonder if you'd still think of it as left and right areas.
