Unlock/Power Switch Sensitivity
#1
Does anyone else have a problem with the lock switch unlocking their device with only the slightest of movement up? The Tangara will not power on unless I fully toggle the switch into the "On" position however after the device has booted and I toggle the switch to the "Lock/Off" position I can unlock the device with only the slightest upward pressure.

Any advice on this?

I have the same thing, yeah. A little touch will unlock the device (though I wouldn't trust it to stay unlocked) and then it takes a bunch more force to slide the switch the rest of the way up. I'm afraid I don't have an answer, but you're not alone.

I'm both glad and disappointed that I am not the only one. Guess this is the start of the conversation on possible resolutions. I'll even replace the switch if there is a viable alternative.

This makes me wonder if the switch needs to be cleaned with some contact cleaner? How long have you had your Tangaras?

I'm in batch 1 but it's actually not gotten very much use and has been kept in a cloth bag and is then usually within a backpack pocket or similar. This behavior has been present since day one essentially so I doubt it needs to be cleaned. If anything I would would expect to have issues the switch being INSENSITIVE instead of overly slow.

But what's curious to me is that this behavior is only in relation to locking and unlocking the device. I absolutely have to properly toggle the switch to get the device to boot.
