Button Faceplate Design
#1
I've finished my first go at a physical button faceplate using Jacqueline's clicky faceplate as design reference. It should be possible to make an insert that allows the buttons to fit within other case designs so an entire front doesn't have to be reprinted.

Neat!

I've been considering making one with even more buttons, because putting way too many extra buttons on everything is kind of my thing. Touch controls also hate my fingers Sad

Here's the sort of thing I'm going for. This fits in the stock case, because it's a very nice case and I don't want to have to replace it.

My plan is to use up/down/left/right as arrows, center as select, then assigning play/pause, next, previous, and idk some fourth action to the diagonal buttons.

Currently waiting for boards to show up before I continue messing with it, because I want to test button shapes with actual switches behind them.
