We've got an issue filed already for adjusting the strength: https://codeberg.org/cool-tech-zone/tang...issues/120

We can have disabling haptics completely as a setting in the same place.

I also found the haptics to be a bit much, but after opening it up to switch around the scrollwheel cover, I noticed that it was significantly less jarring. I think that the screws were just a touch loose from the factory and that resulted in the case resonating, making it sound harsh and cheap. Try tightening the screws a bit (gently as to not break the case or strip the screws) and see if that helps in the meantime.

yep i did that and with respect: i am looking for an off switch for any vibration. its a nerve thing. i appreciate you thinking up a workaround but its not applicable to my situation. less vibe is still vibe.

That's certainly an effective way of disabling haptics!
