I'm getting results very similar to this right now. I had loaded some new music on to the SD-card and updated my database. But I was playing old files. My first symptom was when I shuffled an artist it kept playing the same song over and over and not advancing to the next track. So I tried to force by pressing forward and then it went silent. Now it wont play anything at all. It's either "not playing" "loading" or just blank when I start a track. I get the same results from file or from database.

I figured it was something with the database so I was going to try and remove it go generate a new one but I now get an error-message trying to mount my SD-card on my computer.

Not sure if it's relevant, but maybe something happened to the queue ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ , no idea what those dates are.

My next step would be to reformat the card and add my music again. But I figure maybe I should wait if there is any relevant debugging I can do before I nuke this. Let me know if I can help.

EDIT to say I'm on firmware 1.4.0.

Also sorry to hijack the thread if it's not the same issue, it just seemed very similar. Let me know if I should have started a new thread.

This looks to me like the `.queue.playlist` file might have become corrupted. I know that can sometimes happen if the SD card isn't unmounted before removing. Maybe this is what happened in the original post as well.
