Hey, do you have any other standalone devices for playing music? I'd love to see them, whether they're digital or even analog!
I'll start! I have two 4th generation iPods, one's color and one's monochrome, both 20GB, from a few years ago when they weren't as hard to find on eBay for reasonable prices. The monochrome one unfortunately won't power on... It's perhaps due to the third-party replacement battery I'm using, my color one is lucky enough to still have a working original battery so I didn't need to replace it, shame because I much prefer the monochrome one! I've been wanting to try swapping their batteries to see if it makes a difference, but last time I tried I couldn't get it unplugged so I gave up lol
I've never had any luck charging them over USB, but a few months ago I got a FireWire charger and it works perfectly, that seems to be a common thing for the 4th gens
